We just want say thanks to you and your crew for setting up the perfect
The Disney Dream was awesome, Art of Animation was wonderful and the
parks were great. The whole vacation could not have been better.
Disney Dream--This was my 8th cruise and by far the best from a ship and service standpoint. I have not one single complaint or less than positive comment on either. OK, one observation.
I will most definitely take the kids on another Disney cruise. The staff (cast members) were the best, friendliest, most helpful across the board compared to other cruise lines. The entertainment (main theater) was top-notch.
We all REALLY enjoyed the Animator's Palette Restaurant--wish we'd had 2 nites there instead of just one.
I also liked breakfast in a dining room (Royal Palace) the last morning--beats the buffet. Not sure I would pick Disney without the kids though. They are kid-oriented for my taste (without kids), although there were adults travelling without kids. But then, you likely know all this from your experience.
Art of Animation Resort--Great place for a family with kids to stay. Room was extremely comfortable for 3 adults and 2 kids. The room would easily accommodate 6.
I slept on the sofa/sleeper with no problems. The boys used the Murphy-style bed that folds out over the dinette table. They seemed to be completely comfortable with it as well.
The eating options are kid/family-orientated as well. They have 4-5 offerings ranging from fun/sinful to healthy and then one checkout area (multiple registers/lines). That way everybody gets their choice and you only pay once. I do not believe they have a sit down-type restaurant.
Checkout was a breeze as we did not have to stop by the desk--just double checked the charges on the sheet delivered to the room the last night and left.
Their airline check-in is a fabulous idea. We checked our bags at the resort and didn't see them again until our destination. We also got our boarding passes so we went straight to security upon arrival at MCO.
