Thank you for the wonderful trip! This trip had a lot to it, with many places to stay, transportation, transfer, tours, and it all went really well!
I read something interesting. We flew into Heathrow on the 14 and the next Monday the 15th a record was set for the most people ever to fly into an airport in one day, 268,000. We totally lucked out on that one.
Coming home there was a lot of traffic and security was tight. We had a 2.5 hour layover there but it took us the whole time to get through customs and three or four security checks.
One thing you could always keep in mind is the trains in Europe are really good, fast and nice and make an excellent way to get around. The three day pass was perfect.
One thing I learned and should have known before because we took the Euro-star from London one time to Geneva - Travel light!! Too take baggage on and off of train is a real hassle. Trains move on time there. (I think someone should develop clothing that you wear two days and pitch -Made of paper or something.)
If you were here I would give you a Toblerone chocolate bar!! Did you know that those chocolate bars are shaped to represent the Alps, and the nougat inside is rocks and some of them come with a white top to represent snow?
